Limited Warranty Policy
Shenzhen Yichu Electronics Co., Ltd. (“BillionR”) warrants that all BillionR products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in their original sealed packaging.
BillionR will repair or replace products that are proven to be defective due to improper materials or workmanship, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations set forth in this warranty policy. Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. A valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required to confirm the purchase date.
General Terms
- This warranty policy supersedes all prior or concurrent agreements, whether written or oral, between you and BillionR. BillionR makes no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- All warranties, whether express or implied, are limited to the duration specified in this policy. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.
- During after-sales service, BillionR may access, read, or store data contained in the product for diagnostic purposes. BillionR agrees not to disclose such information to any third party, except authorized personnel who require access to perform service-related tasks.
Warranty Terms
- The warranty period begins from the original date of purchase and continues until the end of the defined warranty period;
- Or until the product reaches its specified endurance limit (such as TBW or DWPD for SSDs);
- Or when the product lifecycle indicator shows abnormal usage or misuse.
BillionR requires proof of purchase to determine warranty eligibility. If proof of purchase is unavailable, the warranty period will be determined based on the product serial number (SN).
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not apply to damage or failure resulting from:
- Improper use, abuse, negligence, accidental damage, unauthorized modification, disassembly, or incorrect installation;
- Operation under abnormal environmental conditions or outside specified operating parameters (e.g., incorrect voltage);
- Normal wear and tear;
- Removal or damage of product labels, serial numbers, or warranty stickers;
- Use with incompatible or non-BillionR hardware, software, or systems;
- Use outside intended applications or failure to follow official documentation;
- Repairs or modifications by unauthorized personnel;
- Minor defects that do not affect functionality;
- Non-new or known defective products sold as such;
- Damage caused by extreme stress testing or improper performance testing.
Note: BillionR is not responsible for data recovery or data loss under any circumstances.
Shipping Policy
- BillionR will cover the shipping cost for sending repaired or replacement products back to the customer.
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning products.
- Freight collect shipments may be refused.
